La’chelle Ruble was raised in Brownwood, Texas, and moved to Abilene to study marketing and business at Hardin Simmons University. La’Chelle has over 25 years of experience with our office. She is our office manager, legal assistant, and an elder law paralegal. La’Chelle always has a smile on her face and a friendly, helpful voice for those who call our office.

Lea Smith is a native of Carlsbad, New Mexico. Lea worked for the Texas Department of Aging and Disability as a case manager and policy protocol specialist for 25 years. Mrs. Smith came to our firm in 2010 as a Medicaid eligibility case manager. She has about 39 years of experience with long-term care/Medicaid eligibility issues. She is senior Medicaid eligibility case coordinator and legal assistant for the Ladyman Law Office for senior planning services.

Jeremiah Ruble was a military brat whose father served in the Air Force. This allowed Jeremiah to experience growing up and living in several foreign countries all around the world. This invaluable experience taught him patience and how to effectively communicate with diverse people. Jeremiah’s father retired from his military career here in Abilene, Texas, and Jeremiah fell in the love with Abilene. He and his wife call Abilene home. He enjoys the outdoors, camping, traveling, and spending time with his family and dog, Rylie. (Frequently you can find Rylie at the office ready to welcome you.) Jeremiah joined the Ladyman Law Office for senior planning services in 2016. Since 2016, Jeremiah has become exceedingly knowledgeable about the senior community and the Medicaid guidelines for estate preservation.

Often, you will find Jeremiah visiting different senior living facilities across West and Central Texas. If you run into him, feel free to ask him any questions that you may have about senior estate planning.

W.O. Elmore is a native of Haskell, Texas, with a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural business from Tarleton State University. He and his wife Mendi have two married daughters and seven grandchildren. Mr. Elmore worked for the Texas Department of Human Services in the Long Term Care Medicaid program for 25 years. He has been working for the Ladyman Law Office for senior planning services as a Medicaid consultant since 2003. Mr. Elmore is a legal assistant, elder law paralegal and senior Medicaid consultant for our firm.

Tim Ladyman is an Abilene attorney who has been practicing elder law in Texas for more than 35 years. Ladyman has extensive experience in nursing home financial planning through the use of Medicaid programs for the elderly. Ladyman grew up in Arlington, Texas, and attended Abilene Christian University and Pepperdine University School of Law before settling in Abilene, Texas. Ladyman and his wife Lori have a combined six children and seven grandchildren. Tim Ladyman is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys-Texas NAELA. He also is a qualified mediator and family law mediator.
